POTOSI LAKE VILLAGE

MINUTES OF MEETING JULY 6, 2004

Debbie called meeting to order and minutes of meeting of June 1, 2004 were read and corrections were noted. Motion was made by Rick Harris to accept minutes as corrected, seconded by Chris Boyer, minutes accepted.

Minutes of special meeting of June 29, 2004 were read and corrections were noted. Motion was made by Dan Kelly to accept the minutes as corrected, Chris Boyer seconded, minutes accepted.

Debbie Cawley then read a letter about the seizing of property due to long overdue assessments, but our lawyer says our by-laws which we are following are not legal and we cannot enforce the seizure. The board then ask Debbie to make an appointment with our lawyer to see about changing our by-laws so that we can legally seize properties where assessments are long past due.

Debbie said she would arrange a meeting as soon as possible. Dan Kelly will attend the meeting with Debbie and anyone else interested in attending is welcome. Chris Boyer made motion to contact lawyer, Dan Kelly seconded. 4 Votes for-- none against.

REPORT ON OUTSTANDING ASSESSMENTS

Debbie Cawley announced that there are only 5 people left on the list of people who have not paid on their assessments and 3 of them were on the list for years. Only 2 more people who have had letters sent by our attorney have not responded to any correspondence. This made us feel very good because out of 17 people only 5 people could not be persuaded by kindness and respect to bring their assessments up to date.

AT THIS POINT WE HAD TO SUSPEND THE RULES OF ORDER TO TAKE A VOTE ON TWO RESIGNATIONS.

Fred Frances resigned by letter June 30, 2004 turned over to Debbie Cawley. Larry Daniels resigned by letter June 30, 2004 turned over to Debbie Cawley.
