I finished my presentation by informing the property owners that we can only proceed with this project if the registered voters (within the established district as defined in the court judgment from Aug 16, 2004) exercise their right to vote on Nov. 02, 2004 at the general election. I urge all property owners to cast an affirmative vote on election day so Public Water Supply District No. 3 can become a reality.

At this time I would like to thank everyone who attended the Sept. 07, 2004 Board of Directors meeting (approx. 35 members) and for your support. Your comments were greatly appreciated and very helpful to me, by demonstrating your concerns and your commitment to the well being of our community.

AGAIN THANKS!!!

As a final note:  I have been accused of lying and of not passing on information to you, as property owners, as to the progress of this project. If I have done or said anything about this project, or have relayed any information that was not true (to the best of my knowledge with the information that I have been given), I herby publicly apologize to the general membership.

I personally gave information to Ms. Debbie Cawley, (president of the Board of Directors at the time), prior to the July Board of Directors meeting, to be posted along with the minutes of the July Board of Directors meeting on the community bulletin board. I personally never saw that report posted. I prepared another report for the Aug. Board of Directors meeting and was going to present that report at the Aug. Board of Directors meeting. When I went to the pavilion that evening, Aug. 03, 2004, I was informed that the meeting was not held due to lack of quorum. I was not informed or aware that this meeting was re-scheduled for a later date, so I did not attend, and was not able to give a report. I offer my sincere apologies that these reports were not made available to the property owners of our community and encourage you to contact me or any member of the proposed sub districts for answers to your questions. I promise that we will relay any and all information that we have, to you, to the best of our ability.

Also, I would like to correct an error that I distributed in the last mailing to all property owners. The name for our proposed district will be PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT NO. 3 of WASHINGTON COUNTY, MISSOURI, not WASHINGTON COUNTY PUBLIC WATER/SEWER DISTRICT NO. 3. This change was requested by the attorneys that will eventually approve the bonds.
